Teaching: Dr. Klisovic served as a clinical instructor of residents and medical students at Tulane University. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at The Ohio State University.

Research: Dr. Klisovic’s research focuses on the molecular biology of uveal melanoma and intracellular signaling in diabetic retinopathy. He has published basic and clinical papers in this area. He has presented his research at numerous national and international ophthalmological meetings. In addition, Dr. Klisovic was awarded several prestigious national and regional awards for his research.

Clinical Interest: Diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, macular edema, complex retinal detachment, uveitis and ocular inflammatory diseases in children and adults, intraocular tumors.

Affiliations: Dr. Klisovic is a member of American Society of Retinal Physicians, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Ohio Ophthalmological Society, The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and American Medical Association.
