What Stands Out About The Midwest Retina Fellowship?

Midwest Retina provides robust fellowship training with the combined experience of seven surgeons with a variety of training backgrounds in the setting of a high volume practice. There is a significant exposure to uveitis and pediatric surgery along with involvement in multiple clinical trials. The private practice setting aligns with my future goals to become a well-versed, community-based retina surgeon. Additionally, the opportunity to moonlight at a consultant rate was attractive. Finally, Columbus is a good-sized, affordable city with lots of activities for my family.

Tell Us About Yourself

I grew up in The Last Frontier - Anchorage, Alaska and naturally having an affinity for the outdoors and many outdoor sports. I enjoy music including jazz piano and guitar. My wife and I treasure our family time with our two daughters, with a third on the way, and our Cavapoo dog. I try not to take myself too seriously and have a work hard-play hard life philosophy.
